NHS - Kepping well this season

16th December 2019

A message from Bucks County Council:

This week there has been a rise in respiratory illnesses among young children. While winter often brings on a lot of these illnesses, there are some basic things we can do within our organisations to help slow their spread and make catching them less likely (such as maintaining hand hygiene). NHS England have put together a toolkit for schools and nurseries which contains lots of helpful advice and can be accessed at the link below:

https://www.england.nhs.uk/south-east/our-work/info-professionals/public-health/winter/schools-nurseries/

As well as the toolkit, there is also information on how people can take care of themselves on the NHS website (www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-body/keep-warm-keep-well/). Families can also visit their local pharmacists or ring 111 for help.

Kind regards
