Governor Meetings
The Local Academy Committee (LAC) meets twice each term to provide both support and challenge to the Headteacher, ensuring that Hughenden Primary School continues to deliver the very best outcomes for its pupils, staff and wider community.
The committee focuses on three key questions:
- What is it like to be a pupil at Hughenden Primary School?
- What is it like to be a member of staff at Hughenden Primary School?
- What is it like to be a parent or member of the Hughenden Primary School community?
In addition, the LAC oversees key aspects of the school's governance and strategic development. Each governor has responsibility for a specific area of school leadership and improvement, including:
- School Improvement (including SEND, Pupil Premium and EYFS)
- Safeguarding
- Staffing and Wellbeing
- Systems, Processes and Compliance (including Health & Safety and Equality)
- Stakeholder Engagement
